In the spirit of fall, I decided to create a simple, no prep counting mat for my preschoolers to practice their fine motor and counting skills. How to Use: Print the printable on card stock. (Please put the printer settings on print to page.) Laminate or place in a dry erase sleeve or page protector sheet for durability. Gather a manipulative you would like to use to count. Choices can include black beans, black buttons, black pom poms, actual apple seeds, etc. Use a dry erase marker to write a number in the box located in the top upper right corner. I love this activity because you can use it to reinforce any topic you are currently teaching.
